Tengiz is an Oil Field in Atyrau oblast, Kazakhstan, located 350 kilometers to the south-east of Atyrau city. The field belongs to Peri-Caspian Oil and Gas province. Discovered in 1979.

Nurikon Oil, LLP obtained a subsurface use license for the Tengiz field in 2017 and was put into operation that opened the way to commercial oil production at this field. The field is currently in crude oil production with geological exploration underway, the existing development wells being studied for their potential and the membrane technology.
